Manhattan,
Talk to the folks at Carolina Rigging. They are a part of All Seasons Marina. Real good guys and they can show you some boats so you can get a good idea of the market around here.

If I'm correct, can you tell me what the lake norman market is like right now? I was thinking of checking out a Pearson 32 or a Hunter 25.5 that was also being advertised; however was unsure just how much of a buyers market it was.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks and enjoy the new boat!

Chris
Yes, it was indeed on Lake Norman and was advertised on the Charlotte Craigslist. The market is pretty good from what I've seen. I don't know what your budget is but there is a boat (at least 30ft if not more) at Lake Norman Sailing Club that was move out this past weekend for non payment and the guy went bankrupt. I heard they were going to auction the boat off. Might be a great opportunity. I'll see if I can find more info and I'll shoot you a PM.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
