Anyone Familiar with Kirby 8 (27')?

Hi, I have come across what appears at first glance a nice looking 1984 or 85 Kirby 8 for sale. It was aka "Evasion 27".

If you have any insight on this make and model (and I've had little luck on the net finding anything about it), I'd appreciate your feedback.

The Kirby 8M (Bruce Kirby Design) started production in 1982 and was constructed by a Canadian boat builder (Evasion Sailboats), long since extinct. I understand that there were less than 40 produced.

I have sailed one and they are very stable with a good turn of speed. Seem to be well constructed, but the real drawback is the inboard OMC engine, which is usually a deal breaker, considering they are unreliable and parts are no longer available. Repowering can set you back almost as much as the boat.
