Cal 22 -Any thoughts on buying one

I'm looking at a '86 Cal 22 as a first boat. I've been sailing for a couple of years and have been looking for a quality boat to race and overnight on. Nothing serious, but something I can learn and get better on.
Anybody have any thoughts on this boat or others?
