Cape Cod Shipbuilders Gauntlet

I am new to this forum and joined because I want to get a sailboat and learn to sail. I am also interested in open boat camp cruising. I was looking at a1975 20' Cape Cod Shipbuilding Gauntlet. I can't find much info on these doing a Google search.

Anyone have any knowledge about these boats. How about leeboards and that rudder - does not look like most sailboats I've seen. Would it be very tipsy? Any information and help will be appreciated.
