Jacksonville Florida Surveyors? Good / Bad

Hi,
I am looking for a surveyor for a 1980's full keel cruiser in the Jacksonville Fl area. Any recommendations or warnings?
Thanks!

I would recomment Jim Campbell in the Jax area,- very knowledgable, much experience, certified, 'background in yacht construction. 'take care and joy, Aythya crew

Jim Campbell was recommended by the owner of a boat we were interested in (owner changed his mind and kept her). He used Jim when he bought that boat. We have not yet bought our boat, but Hubby has had several occasions to communicate with him and he has been very helpful and has given us good advice, so far for free. He will be our first choice surveyor.

As to FL boat brokers, we had a boat sold out from under us (we had made a formal offer & put down a deposit). The boat sold for $2K less than what we offered. So BEWARE!

Thanks. I spoke with Jim the other day - niec guy and he sounded knowledgable. Unfortunately, he is unavailable when I need him.

blowinstinkdid you ask him for a referral? We found our surveyor from another surveyor who was recommended to us but was unavailable. Thus far we couldn't be happier with the sample surveys he provided as well as the client references he provided to us.
