Nicholson 31 performance

Hi at Sailnet,

For a number of reasons I think the Nicholson 31 could be the right boat for us. But although "fast" is not a criteria I am slightly afraid that weak performance might put me off.

The boat is to be used mostly in home waters (Baltic Sea) but we plan to take time off once in a while to do extended cruising. First destination here will be the Med/Aegean Sea.

Anyone in this forum with knowledge of the performance of the Nic 31? Please discuss across the wind scale and different points of sailing.
