Acquired my new baby!!! Stiletto 27'

I finally found a quality example and snapped her up this weekend! I couldn't be more excited. She will need a little sprucing up but otherwise she is solid.

She is FAST!!! I took her out is 10-15 mph wind during the sea trial and under JIB ONLY she did 7 knots!!!!!

All I have to do now if figure out how to get her over to my side of the state??? I may have to do a Circum-nav of Florida

i thought the idea of the Stiletto 27 was they are trailer able. i am sure if you look you might be able to find some one with the right trailer you could rent to drive it cross state.

i have to admit i have looked at these boats for my speed demon desires

Congrats. The point about trailering the boat is a good one, and may be a better idea than partially circumnavigating Florida in a new-to-you boat.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
