Opinion on Goman express 20?!

Hi, My wife and I are looking for our first boat ( we are unexperienced but enthusiastic!) and have looked at a Goman express 20, which seems ok ..( especially given our price restrictions!)...Anyone out there familiar with this boat?

Thanks

Re: Opinion on Goman express 20?!

i bought a goman 20 2 years ago I have salied for many years and have raced many times. The goman 20 is a great little boat i use mine as a day sailer only
This is a good little boat that has a simple rig so for a beginner it will be just fine . But if you are looking for a little bigger boat that you can do a little crusing on then i would try to find either a abott 22 or a sonic 23 both of these are great boats I owned a sonic 23 years ago and i have sailed on a abott 22 as well . Either way you can not go wrong with any of these boats.
