Cape Dory 26 Question

I am contemplating the purchase of a 1985 Cape Dory 26. Problem is, it is 3 hours away and the owner does not live near the boat. I am tall (6'5") and want to know if I would fit in the v-berth. My wife would sleep on one of the quarter berths. Any ideas out there if I would fit? I really would hate to drive 3 hours to find right off the bat I don't fit.
