O'day 23 or Catalina Capri 22

Hello all,
New to the forum but I've been lurking for a while. Considering a 1980 O'day 23 and a 1986 Catalina 22. Both are in similar (good) condition and priced similarly. The catalina has a larger sail inventory although I am drawn to the O'day for the simple fact that I have two O'day Javelins and they have been great boats, plus the O'day feels a little larger and more accommodating for a weekend. I however do like the thought of a fixed keel in terms of long term reliability and maintenance which the cat. offers. Thoughts? Thanks!

I had a 1983 O'Day 23. I lake sailed it for 14 years before moving up to a larger boat. The only thing I didn't like about the O'Day was it didn't have enough head room. Mine had a roller furling head sail which I haven't seen on too many. The swing keel was never a problem and actually made it nice on the lake due to I could get up in the coves.
