Alright. I finally caught the owner on board the other day and spoke to him about his vessel for a few. It's an Avance 33, designed by Peter Norlin. The owner I spoke to said that he personally imported 15 33's and a few 40's in the 80's. And he imported them from....you guessed it; Finland!

So there you have it. Mystery solved!
