Morgan/Catalina

Can anybody tell me if there is a significant difference in built quality or design intentions between Catalina yachts and Morgan yachts, which are built by Catalina as well, as far as I know?

Morgan/Catalina

Over this last summer I looked at a number of older Catalina''s - and a few Columbia''s.

Granted they were generally in the 27 ft. range...

What struck me [finally] about the Catalina''s - is that there seemed to be less consideration given to easy access [and eventual replacement?] of water, fuel, holding tanks in the design of their internal layout. A lot of fiberglass to cut / rebuild if you had to replace something...
