Bayfield 32 Hull Construction

I'm considering purchasing a 1977 Bayfield 32. Does anyone know if this boat has a cored hull, deck or both? I've been unable to find any good information on the hull construction. Thanks for the help!

Hi and welcome to Sailnet.
As far as I can tell the Bayfield 32 has a cored deck. The hulls of the Bayfields were solid hand laid glass. I found one reference that included the original brochure of the Bayfield 29 and it is included below. It mentions a cored liner as well on the 29. Remember Google is your best friend most times - I found this in a simple search. Also if there are owners groups on the net they will usually turn up on Google and are great resources of information. It appears there once was an owners group but it only leads to dead links as far as I can tell. Here's a link to some history of Bayfield Yachts Bayfield Yacht Owner Resources: History
Good luck

I used to have a Bayfield, here is the link to the Bayfield Yacht Owners Group on Yahoo. It's very active and loads of information.
