Morgan 43 CC or similar

I am ready to purchase my next boat, having sold my Pearson 323. The intended use is for Caribbean cruising and liveaboard for a couple of years. The current choice seems to be a Morgan 43 CC. I would like to get a smaller (approx. 38') boat, but may need space for all the extras, like dinghy, 2 kayaks, dive gear, etc, etc. I met one man who single-handed his Morgan 44 (almost the same boat, isn't it?) and was impressed with the value and utility of his boat.
Does anyone have info on any negatives to look for in this model? And equally important, any other alternatives to look at? I like the idea of a Bristol 41.1, but don't really like the galley arrangement. And I'm not totally sold on the CC, but definetely after having the pearson with the traveller in the cockpit want a boat that can have a proper cockpit enclosure.
Thanks for all replies.
Dwight

Hi Dwight,
Have you purchased your Morgan 43 CC yet? My wife and I just got done in June 2009 with a 2 year live-aboard sabbatical and 20K+ mile cruise including two trans-Atlantic crossings on our Morgan 43 and I thought our boat was perfect for the job. However, we also are trying to sell our boat now that we are done cruising for the time being and back to work. Search Morgan 43 on boats.com in Chicago and you'll find my listing. I'd be happy to share some of my thoughts from our experiences with the boat. Let me know.
