I think if the listing is exclusive to one broker, which is common, you would have no choixe but to deal with that broker if you wished to buy that particular boat. But of course, regardless of what the broker does leave out or misrepresent, etc, you will get a survey and the surveyor will be working for you. Don't rely on a survey anyone else has had done in the past and DO NOT find the surveyor on recommendation of the broker.

Looking for my first boat. One that has caught my attention is a Pearson 28 which has been on the hard for two years. I cannot post a link yet. Has a rebilt Atomic 4 with tiller, non-press. alcohol stove with two sails. Price was dropped from 8500 to 6500. I would offer less. Do boats deteriote quickly on the hard? TIA. Hank
