I owned and sailed one for several years in the 90's. I lived aboard for a year through a rainy winter and it was a warm and cozy little home. It was quick and well mannered both upwind and down. I sailed it in some truly harsh conditions up and down the Pacific Northwest coast. Beware the wood rudder, mine sheared at the waterline in a gale 50 miles out. The balsa cored deck is very vulnerable to water intrusion and rot. Overall a nice little boat seaworthy enough for coastal sailing.

kmartin16....I think it was a 1979.

Blackbart500...I've also owned 2 Tanzer 22's a fixed keel, and a keel/centerboard. Great little boats (the swing keel model was faster and sailed way above its west coast phrf rating (225)).
