I looking for any feedback, positive or negative, about the mid 80''s 42 Vagabond center cockpit ketch. My wife and I intend to cruise in the caribbean for a year or two then head to the south pacific as our long-term goal. I have heard that it has problems with the rudder post, is this true?
Thanks for any advice you can provide.

We are looking at a tayana 42. Would like to hear opinions also. We plan to leave next Jan. My husband, me, our 10th grade daughter, Corgi and cat. We plan to leave the fish behind. We plan to cruse for 18 months then go back for her senior year of high. Thats our plan now.
