boat shipping :(
I feel like such a rub. I may have the funds to soon buy a very nice little 28'' sloop, without a motor. It has become readily aparent that I will not be able to sail it down the miles of river, across the bay, and down the coast of Ca without a motor, and chances are I wont be able to get the motor working in time to make the trip...
therefore...
I need to find a way to get it from the California Delta (inland of SF) to the Oxnard area where I have a support structure, dock space, knowledgable friends, and time to work on it on weekends and after work during the week (and maybe to use it as a liveaboard soon  ). Anyone know of a rough estimate of how much this is going to cost me? and/or can anyone recomend shipping companies they''ve worked with in the past that I may wish to contact?
