What would be a good used boat 35'-40' ?

I'm looking for a used sailboat for use on great lakes. I like the look of c&c boats. I don't plan on racing or anything. I will probably spend 1 week at a time out and about at the longest. It's is me my wife and my daughter. After looking around everyone has something bad to say about all the boats I just figured I'd take an average. Thanks for your time.
