There is a Paceship 17 up for sale now that is $1300, looks kinda nice actually. Anyone know anything about this boat? I'm having a hard time finding info on the web.

bakerha51- The boats you mentioned are probably a bit bigger than I'm looking for now, but thanks for the heads up

JP - went to the marina and found a listing on our bulletin board. Look at the boat link at http://dhesme.home.comcast.net/~dhesme . This guy is a local guy that is brokering these boat for people and listing them on his web site. There are a couple of smaller boats in the list. I have no knowledge on condition of any of these boats however and only met the broker dude once. Good Luck

I posted a want ad on Craigslist and got some good responses. Good lead on a Chrysler Buccaneer 18, and there is that Paceship 17, all under $1500. If you had to pick, which one would YOU choose, or would you pass on both? Assume they are both in equally good condition. I'm leaning towards the Buc, but the fact that it sounds like a tender boat has got me a bit concerned.

Chrysler Buccs are good boats. "tender" is in the eye of the beholder to a certain extent when you're talking about boats under 20' in length.
