Looking for Recommendations on Boat?

I am interested in purchasing a used boat for mostly weekend use on my local lake Sidney Lanier. I want the boat to be large enough to accomodate four adults and four children. I also my want to be able to sleep on the boat occasionally during the summer months with my family of four. I am not new to boating, but don't have alot of experience sailing or much knowlege about sailboats. I think I am looking for 30-38ft boat with inboard deisel and steering wheel as opposed to tiller. So far I think my best options are a Catalina 30 or Hunter 34. I am hoping to get suggestions as to if I should be considering other boats. I'm trying to stay under 25 grand, hopefully closer to between 15 and 20.
