So I've had the boat for a year now and again the moisture meter performed its magic. After hauling in December I spent an hour mapping the deck and hull using the meter. All seemed okay except for a 10x10 inch patch on the hull that pegged the meter. I decided to see if it would dry out to confirm that it was moisture. Sure enough this spring the spot reads dry. Crawling into the anchor locker it only took about five minutes to identify the cause of the leak. There is absolutely no visual indication of a leak anywhere, just water infusing the hull. So with the knowledge provided by the meter I found a small maintenance item now instead of becoming an expensive repair later.
Once again proving that moisture meter operation is useful and easy....even for dummies.
