We've bought a boat!

Hi all! I've been busy with work and life and don't get to check in here much any more... but I'm pleased to announce we've done a very silly thing:

We're now the proud owners of a REAL BOAT (some out there consider trailer-sailers to not fall into the "real boat" category). Here she is:

The full saga in all it's gory detail can be found here: A taste of things to come

Cheers,
Cameron

Sweet ride. The only tough luck is that blue is faster.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Congrats, Cameron... thanks for letting us know over here.

Have you forsaken the faithful Hartley? Sold her? Turned her into a planter?

That boat is sweet. Who designed and built her? What year?

The purchase price of a boat is just the admittance fee to the dance...you still have to spend money on the girl...so court one with something going for her with pleasing and desirable character traits others desire as well... or you could find yourself in a disillusioned relationship contemplating an expensive divorce.
