Mysterious Hunter Hull Cracks Thread Moves

It looks like the friends of Hunter Marine have been successful again in ending an objective criticism of the company and its practices related to mysterious cracking of Hunter ACP hulls in cold temperatures. Just as I was about to provide more evidence as requested by Maine Sail, my thread has been closed. For those of you still interested in learning more about this issue and wanted to hear the rest of my evidence,[EDIT] I will continue to provide the facts. Just click here to continue to read and participate in this debate: [EDIT]

Wundrbar,

We gave you ample latitude to air your complaints. You received abundant feedback from the Sailnet membership, very little of it sympathetic to your predicament.

By your own admission, Hunter offered to repair your daysailer's hull, even though it was many years out-of-warranty and had been stored under questionable conditions. Rather than accept this offer, or pursuing the legal avenues available to you, you admit that you decided instead to attack Hunter in "the court of public opinion" (post #109 here).

The Sailnet terms of service are very explicit on this topic:

Quote:
5. This forum is not to be used to sell things to members OR settle personal disputes or attack vendors. This is a community. If you come here to use the community rather than be a part of it, expect to be banned.

You agreed to these terms when you joined Sailnet. It now appears your only reason for joining Sailnet was to pursue an agenda that violates this term of service.

We did not block access to your other thread. "[F]riends of Hunter Marine" did not influence us. We locked the thread to deny you further opportunity to advance your agenda here at Sailnet. We certainly are not going to host a second thread that allows you to pursue that agenda. So we will edit your initial post to this thread.

Please refrain from beating this dead horse here at Sailnet.
