Can't find ANY online info about this - 38' Markos Yachts Limited

While searching for our next boat purchase I came across this boat. I've been trying to find out more about the Manufacture and info/reviews online but found zilch. Seems to be well taken care of one never knows and it would be nice to have some more info before taking this too seriously.
Any one?

If this is the boat you are referring to:

It sounds like a one off for the owner of the company.

A couple of years later, the same company was doing a Robert Perry design:

However, other than the aluminum toe rail, the boats look very different. The '79 has a pronounced shearline, and the '81 is pretty flat and more modern.

Bob Perry occasionally posts on Sailing Anarchy. You might privately ask for his opinion of the company, if he worked with them in that time period.

I'm guessing that the double ender may be a Stan Huntingford design, similar to the Slocum. It looks like she's got experience and has had some significant work done. (Steering may have been an issue due to the extensive rudder mods - presumably that's been addressed now)

I believe that many, if not most, of the Reliance hulls were marketed as owner finished hull-and-deck kits.. find a good one and you'll probably have a pretty nice boat.

I'd tend to go with Fast on this one. BP and SH designed quite a few similar boats but BP's canoe sterns almost always have the Valiant look about them and his stems quite straight. BP himself admits that he was heavily influenced by the wonderful Scandinavian designer K Aaage Nielsen. I'd post a pic of one of Nielsen's sterns but Photobucket seems to be dead.
