Inspecting a dry stored hull...

I'm about to look at a project boat (Ericson 39) that has been stored on the hard for the past few years. Can this make it harder for a surveyor to check for rot in the core? I've been told that cored Ericson 39s were laid up well and that they paid proper attention to the through hulls. Does any one have experience with them? good or bad....

k1vsk will become famous soon enough
It is easier for a surveyor to check a hull (and thruhulls) on the hard (for obvious reasons). Although I had a different model Ericson than the 39, I am unaware Ericson ever built a cored hull.

As far as I know the hull is not cored, surveyor will tell you for sure.
