Grinnell 30?

My dad came across this auction bill. It has a Grinnell 30 listed on it that is up for auction. I am not interested in it. I was just wondering if anyone has heard of this model or if it is mis labeled. The auctioneer specialized in farm auctions so he could be way off.

It's a Reinell. Not a stellar example of a sailboat built by a builder whose main market was powerboats.

It sailed better than a bucceneer!

I don't know about that Marty. Some of the Bucanneers were designed by Doug Peterson and Bill Garden. Lousy build quality though.

The Reinell doesn't look like it can sail well. Doesn't look to be 30' long either. Actually hurts the eyes.

It is painful to look at. I wonder if it will even recieve a bid at a farm auction. Or any auction for that matter.

YEs there were some bucs that sailed well, that went on to become part of a different brand, US Boats? any way, I am thinking the UGLY bucs, not the pederson or garden designed one. The rienels at least in Lk washington when I saw them sail, went forward, the buc I a thinking of went sideways!

It might make a good planter.

It doesnt even look like it has any winches or other parts that could be taken off and sold on ebay for parts. By the looks of the trailer it might not be worth much more than scrap.
