Multihull - Prout vs Catalac

I want to move up from a small monohull to a catamaran capable of some offshore work. I like the design of the Catalac 9M, but feel the Prouts (Quest or early Snowgoose) may be be better. Any comments appreciated.

I bought a PDQ32 last year, I did some research at that time, it seems to me that Prout and Catalacs of that size were regarded as good boats with similar performance.
