Annapolis Broker

I would appreciate recommendations for a boat broker in the Annapolis area. During the next year, we are going to purchase a 42 to 47 ft sailboat for liveaboard cruising. I''m trying to find a reliable broker who will help us in our boat selection process. I''m looking for someone we can rely on to get to know what we are looking for and work with us to purchase that boat, not someone who just wants to sell whatever he or she has available at the moment.

I used Tim Wilbricht at Annapolis Yacht Sales two years ago. We looked at boats all over the area, including over on the eastern shore. Tim was very tolerant while we continued to educate ourselves on what was out there and honed our search. You can search through the many boats available in the area though the internet and Tim will either know them or will find out about them. We ended up with a 41 foot boat. Best of luck.

I have used a Pat Lane at Annapolis Yacht Sales in quite a number of deals. I have found him to be quite knowledgeable, honorable, and hard working. We have been through some pretty complex negotiations and I have always felt that he was working for and with me. His email address is patricklane@erols.com

Charlie Duval at Interyacht. Great to work with, honest and not at all pushy. Very knowledgeable.
