Jachtwerf Zaadnoordjk Compromis 909?

Anyone know anything about these boats? There seems to be very little information available about them besides that they are built in the Netherlands.

Nice boat for a 31'er. No express I'd suppose but lovely fitout.

Have a look at links below, may be of some help. For further info try searching "Compromis" by itself.

While I'm not familiar with the maker, she is a good looking boat!

Looks like an HR knock off to a degree. That is not a good or bad comment about it, but similar lines useage etc. Kind of like a lot of boats in in that same area are Swan knockoffs, former employee's go start there own yard and follow similar how too's if you will. Looks like a nice boat if that style meets your needs.

For having survived 60 years building yachts, and expensive yachts, the Compromis has to be a good boat

They are still in business but have changed the name for C-Yachts:

C-Yacht sailing yachts | Top class sailing yachts singled out as sailing yacht of the year

I have seen their boats and they are very well built. The design is somewhat old (Frans Maas) but they use hi-tech materials and technics and end up with a light but strong hull. The interiors are very good.

The new 10.50 was tested on the last number of Yachting Monthly and they said very good things about the boat (traditional, well built and surprisingly fast with weak winds).

YouTube - Yachting Monthly's test of the C-Yacht 10.50

I find the 10.50 a bit to "fat" for a center cockpit but I like a lot the 12.50. That's a very good boat with a fantastic interior.

YouTube - C-yacht 12.50 nieuweboten.nl

And specially for Andrews: they have a nice decksaloon (11.30 DS), with a great interior. The Dehler is a better looker on the outside and probably a faster boat, but this one has a better interior .

Paulo

Very strong hull,well built.Excellent interiors.I am a 6 year happy owner of a C999 (9,60 m or 32,5 ft) sailing around Greek islands.
It 's expensive in European market but it keeps her value.
