Beneteau 42s7 advice
 

Considering a Bene 42s7, can anyone out there provide any feedback ? - THANKS!!

Its a great boat - I currently have one. Are you going to race or cruise it?

They are a good sailing boat,
fairly fast over a broad range of conditions.
I do not quite understand the sloping decks
around the cockpit of that vintage of
Beneteau however.

I finally own a Bene 42s7 and looking to set it up for spinnaker and club racing. Trying to figure out attachment points and paths for sheets and guys (dip pole) and wondering how sturdy the metal toe rail is, as far as snatch blocks and feasibility of spinnaker gear attachment points.

Considering that boat is/was designed to race, the issue should be more of the what items you need, not if possible.

Did you get an owners manual? not sure if they are available online at Beneteau like they are at jeanneau. You might also see if there is an owners forum like this specific to Beneteau that has actual owners. I'm not talking the ones below this area, or at sailboat owners com either.
