have a catalina 25, lookin at a 27

I''m thinking of doing the step from my 25 to a 27, i didn''t know mucgh about he 25 until after i bought it. now i had a rude awakening when i found out that the stock spreader brackets and chain[plates had to be replaced with the upgrades. my question is, what are the specific areas of weekness/concern with the 27 modle? or what specifically should i look for or what should i avoid?

This upgrade is simple and economical. Go to Catalina Direct''s website (catalinadirect.com) and it is all there. Older Catalina 27''s have the same castings which need to be upgraded as well.

This is not a huge problem.
