C&C Corvette or Douglas 31 going Coastal

C&C Corvette 31' or Douglas 31'

How do these girls compare on a "inland (non-ocean crossing) cruise"?

If they were racing on same cruise, which one has the advantage assumimg all variables matched!

Both look like solid designs, the Douglas is maybe a bit roomier due to more beam and a bit more waterline length. I think they both are able for coastal cruising and if properly prepared and sailed offshore as well. The centerboard on the Corvette will allow cruising in thinner waters. The Corvette is definitely not like the C&Cs most know.
