Annapolis Boat Surveyer

We are working with a broker in the Annapolis area to purchase a 40 ft.+ sailboat. As part of the process, I want to identify a reliable surveyer in the Annapolis area. I would like to find someone who is really knowledgable, can be counted on to be an active advocate for the interests of the buyer and who will take into account our entended use for the boat, offshore cruising. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Bruce

I highly recommend Jack Hornor. He''s not only an accredited surveyor, but also a naval architect. He does boat reviews for SpinSheet, Chesapeake Bay Magazine and the Boat/US magazine. He''s about as knowledgeable as one can be about boats. Phone number is 410-451-8133.

Bob Noyce came highy recommended to us. He really takes his time and is very helpful during the sea trial which is so important.I would use him again.

I''ve used Jerry Trippitelli of Harbor Marnine Surveys several times. He''s terrific!
