Surveyor recommendation mid-way between Annapolis MD and Norolk VA

I'm looking for someone to survey a Caoe Dory sailboat located in Lancaster, Virginia, which is about 2 from Annapolis and 3 from Norfolk. I don't mind paying travel time for the right person.

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

I used Don McCann in Deltaville when I bought my first boat and was mostly satisfied though it seems to me these guys do miss some things in my experience.

He sank a deal on my boat that McCann had surveyed 3 years earlier and he sank a deal on my dockmates Tartan 37. This guy has a reputation for painting the worst possible picture and thereby sinking a lot of deals, so maybe he's the guy you want, but frankly, I don't think you can expect to by an older boat and not find a few warts so if you use this guy you may have to apply some of your own judgement.

I later sold that boat at near my asking price, but I forget who that buyer used for the survey. It might have been McCann.
