pearson 323 for the bahamas??

Any opinions on the Pearson 323 as a cruiser for the east coast and Bahamas would be appreciated.

I owned a Pearson 323 for 5 years. It would be a super boat for the East coast, the Bahamas, or the Caribbean.

The PO of my 323 told me that the original owner had bought his new specifically for that purpose. I don''t have a lot of personal experience sailing in that area, but from what I''ve read, the 323 should be an excellent choice. The combination of it''s sailing characteristics, roominess below and 4''5" draft will let you take it into nearly any anchorage.
