1972 Southcoast 22 no engine $1800 or SANTANA 21 $1500
The first one has an engine. The price seems pretty low. Maybe there is something wrong with it?
Both have shallow draft which is good for me in the Illinois river. An extra foot might be worth another $120 to me. Reading on the Internet I found people saying that the Santana "is a fast boat". Is that much of a concern? The Santana Craigslist posting doesn't have any pictures of the inside of the boat.
I can get a trolling motor and a battery and not have to mess with an engine at all, so having an engine is not a big deal. I really don't want to have to use the engine for an extended period and have to pay for gas ever.

Tow it to your favorite lake, launch it and go sailing today! Complete and ready to go sailing, including standing & running rigging, jib and main sail, good running Johnson outboard, newly upgraded trailer, life preservers, swim ladder, anchor, port-a-potty, winch handle and other accessories. Easy to tow, rig and launch. All sails, hardware and rigging in good condition, no soft spots on hull or deck. Retractable swing keel draws 20" when up, 42' down. Great shallow water sailor! No hidden flaws. Cushions and wiring need some attention, and minor cosmetics, but real easy and inexpensive for a handy person. Delivery available. (630) 569-1719, Mike

The foam is there and there is new fabric
which needs installed. No anchor. Has a depth finder , one main and two
jib's that are in good condition. The price is negotiable. I have a boat
title but the man I bought it from did not have a title for the trailer
nor do I.
