No V-Berths
 

I am looking for a 37-45 foot sailboat that has either a center line or pullman master berth. That is a non negotiable for the admiral. The budget is 80k for a sail away boat. I would like to sail it trans pacific in a few years so a decent resale value in Australia would be a plus. I am 6'4" and being able to stand up close to straight would also be good. The current boat is a pearson 365 and we are happy with everything except the size.

An early Hunter Passage 42. The SWMBO will love the aft cabin with ensuite.

But it is a Hunter so you would have to put up with some s*** and derision.

Unless the prices have changed ... a lot, you're not likely to get any of those for $80K in sail-away shape. Not to rain on your parade, that's just the reality. I say your best bet is one of the Pearsons.
