Any more Charter boat feedback?

What I am looking for is anyone who has had any experience in buying a boat that has been in the charter business. I got some great feedback from two fellow sailors. I''ll include my original comments to see if any of you with some personal experience in purchasing a chartered sailboat, can give me addtional information. Original question: I''ve been combing the libraries and internet looking for some additional information on purchasing a boat that was in the charter business. I have read several articles on the pros and cons of purchasing a boat that has been in a reputable charter fleet. What I have not read is what is the resale value of a boat like this after you have purchased it? Anyone out there know the answer? The logic I''m using is that if I maintain this boat in the condition that I purchased it, as well as upgrading her systems as needed, that she will retain her value. Have I missed something? Looking forward to your responses.
