Opinions on the Catalina 400 vs the 42 Mark II
My wife and I own a Catalina 34 and are trading up to a bigger boat. We plan to cruise the eastern US and the Caribbean for a few years. The Catalina 400 and 42 Mark II are on our search list. We prefer the 400 features and layout. However, my wife is concerned about the dual wheel setup. What are the pros and cons? She is not a great fan of heeling beyond 15 degrees and wonders if the dual wheels help with that or might make her less comfortable when she is at the helm.
We would like to know your thoughts on the pros and cons of each boat.
