How much is my homemade boat lift worth?
I'm planning on making my own metal boat lift and with slings. It will have two door frame like shapes that are 12' high with legs sticking out 4' on the bottoms to keep it from falling over. It will be able to lift up any 6000# trailerable boat. There are 4 manual wenches hooked to the ends of the slings.
It will be bolted together at the corners. It can be easily taken apart and the pieces can lay along the sides of the trailer so it can be moved around with the boat. I am going to add another cross member to my trailer to lay the beams on.
How much would such a thing be worth if I tried to sell it?
