Crusader Yacht Sales, Annapolis

Hey,

I'm looking for comments on Crusader Yacht Sales in Annapolis. Good, bad, whatever.

I will be in the area the last week of Aug and they have a few boats I would like to see.

Thanks
Barry

Was there five years ago. Seemed competent. Didn't buy anything they had. Lots of brokerages & boats there.

I know the folks at Crusader Yacht Sales very well and for a very long time. In particular, I know and have worked with Rod Rowan and the Owner, Nancy Cann. I have always found them to be knowlegable, honest, and of the "tell it like is" mentality. In a town with a lot of really good brokerage houses, Crusader really shines as one of the best. I could not recommend them more strongly.

Bought my first sailboat through them some 25 years ago and Nancy was excellent. Good to hear that they are still providing service to the Annapolis area.

They sold my Hunter 36 in less than 6 months and i used them as a buyers broker for a boat i bought in Kemah, Texas. Dave Van Den Arend is my recommedation on who to work with.

I looked at two boats at Crusader Yacht Sales shown by Rod Rowan, put a bid on one but didn't buy. He's the only one I dealt with there.

Rod seems honest and knowledgeable but low key. I wouldn't hestitate to call him if a new listing catches my eye.

Their offices are clean and have what's needed, but not too fancy that screams of high overhead.

There's a really inexpensive Mexican eat in/take out in the strip mall right before you turn onto the road to the boat yards. Good food!
