Wanted: Used Tayana 48 or Caliber 47LRC

Hello:

I am interested in purchasing a used, >1998, 47 Caliber or 48 Tayana sailboat on the West Coast.

Ideally this would be a private sale however I would also consider boats already on brokerage.

Hopefully there are some people out there who have a boat that they are trying to sell.

Cheers,

Steve

RichH will become famous soon enough
Most well found Tayanas rarely ever are sold by brokers, etc.; typically they are sold through the Tayana Owners Group (a google group that you must apply/join). Suggest you join the "TOG" on google groups, kick some tires by checking the archives and then as a prospective purchaser state your requirements, etc. on the 'list'.
Thats how most 'well founded' Tayanas are sold ... and usually within a few days/weeks after they are offered for sale.
And yes, the Ty48 is probably the 'best' Tayana that Robert Perry designed ... Im envious of the '48'.

Steve:
There is a Tayana dealer in San Francisco. I forget the name.

Thank you RichH. I am currently a member (as of yesterday) and hopefully this will lead to a very nice boat in the near future.

Thanks for your time.

Cheers,

Steve
