I think that the trouble with a boat like a Westsail 32 is that it is really cramped for cruising with three people and with its extremely high displacement is not a great coastal cruiser, which is how they will be starting off. These are also very big boats to handle. I think of them as 40 footers to handle sailing on a waterline of a 32 footer.
