internet boat sales

Can anyone recommend particular websites where one can advertise a boat for sale, with photos, etc.? Boat is located in Annapolis, Wauquiez 37. Is Sailnet''s the best, or are there others to consider? Thanks, Joe

www.yachtworld.com and www.boats.com are pretty popular, but they have a limit on how high a "for sale by owner" can go. I''m pretty sure they both peak at $50,000, and after that you have to go through a broker.

www.yachtworld.com is about the best I''ve seen. A lot of yacht brokers sites are actually sub-sites of yachtworld

Yachtworld is primarily -- if not exclusively -- a broker site. Suggest that you try Soundings (soundingsonline.com) or boattrader.com. Note that Soundings and boattrader seem to use the same search engine/database of ads, so it doesn''t make sense to place an ad with both (especially if you have to pay).

However, you might consider placing an ad with Soundings that is both PRINT and INTERNET. I sold my last boat that way. Good luck.

I would 2nd the Sounding rec. It is where I found all 4 of my boats.
