beneteau first 305 vs feeling 286

Im new to this forum and need some help. I have a low budget and I am currently looking at a beneteau first 305 and a feeling 286 special. My dilemma is this. The feeling has a 9hp engine (volvo penta 2000;thats how they designed them) which is a bit of an issue against the waves I guess...yet the accommodation is more spacious, better conditioned and better planed than the beneteau. The beneteau has a 1987 yanmar 18 engine (2GM freshwater cooled), displacement is better but interior is a bit crammed in my opinion. However the displacement is heavier (3600kg) vs the feelings 2600 kgs...I imagine the ben is more stable...Any opinions on this please?
