Morgan 35' thoughts and advice

Hi All;

I am going to look at a '70 Morgan 35' I found for cheap money in the next couple of days. I originally was looking for a trailer sailer in the 26' area for a couple of reasons. The first was cost and the Morgan is cheaper than most of the 26s I have been looking at. the second reason was I could park the boat in my driveway and not have to pay to moor her. That is still a consideration but I know that a 26' boat would not be the boat I want to retire to especially not one that was easily put on a trailer. The third reason was I figured it (the 26' ) would be an easier boat to get back in to the swing of sailing after 10+ years. The Morgan I am sure will need quite a bit of work but I have no intention or cruising the boat for more than weekends for at least a couple of years. I figure that it will be a good primer on doing boat repairs more so than in my driveway.

I am going to post a question in the Morgan section about the specific things to look for other than Sailingdog's list. What are the advantages / disadvantages of the bigger boat vs the smaller one.
