We have hull #1 with a tall rig, long keel and attached rudder, not a particularily good geometry for around the world, although a sister ship went around with the standard rig and after moving the rudder aft on a skeg which was then incorporated as an early design modification. Such a boat crossed the Straights of Juan de Fuca in a 40-knot westerly against the ebb (estimated 8 to l2 feet seas just off of Ediz Hook)with little apparent fuss. We accompanied them in another boat and had our hands full. Being a Seattle boat there are a number of them on Puget Sound. As for storage and tankage I have no idea. Regards, George
