Two Cabin Boats

I'm trying to make a list of boats under 50' preferably under 40' that have two cabins.
The idea is that each cabin would have a door for privacy.

I've seen a few but can't remember the models.

So I guess what I'm asking is can you think of any nicely laid out boats on the smaller size that have this feature?

The most important point is the price. I'm trying to keep it down to about 50k so I'm probably looking at older models.

David We have been actively looking at a larger boat the last 6 months. You are actually referring to a three cabin boat (Two seperate sleeping area walled off from the salon.

We actually have put bids in on two we really liked, but have not closed on euither of them,

One was a 43 Mason and the other A 4.1. centercockpit Bristol

Lots of boats have 2 cabins, starting in the low 30's feet range. I've got a Catalina 34 with 2 cabins and I'm pretty sure the C32 has 2 as well.
I would say the bulk of your production model cruisers between 35 and 50' will have 2 private cabins. And there will be more than a few in the 40-50' range with 3 private cabins.

I see you have a C-30. We used to have one and really enjoyed it. It was a pretty basic, bare bones '79.
We now have a '87, C-34 with a lot more features on it. it is a nice step up from the 30. For under $50k, you can get an early to mid 90's, 34'.

Is the chef right, Am I using the wrong terminology?
I'm thinking of a cabin as being a room with a door separate from the main salon.
My friend bene has a 50' boat and I'm pretty sure is it called a 4 cabin 4 head plus main salon.

If you can find one for sale.
A Squadron 36 has 4 cabins behind 4 beautiful crafted doors.
Aft cabin is a single. Forward cabin is a double. Even has a seperate shower stall in the bathroom. And a nice sized workshop with storage in the bow.

It is an amazing sailboat. Designed by John P. Fox so I am told

Regardless of terminology, it sounds like you are looking to move up to a larger boat with 2 private sleeping cabins. I guess technically, my C-34 is a 3 cabin boat, but it only has 2 private sleeping quarters. The 3rd cabin is the salon that can be converted to sleeping quarters.
As I mentioned earlier, all your Catalinas starting at 32' will have 2 private sleeping quarters and the bulk of the cruisers out there above 35' will most likely as well.

Tell us your plans. If you want to move up from your C-30, what have you looked at that interests you? Where are you boating now? How long have you had your C-30?

That has been my experience over the years. A three cabin boat = V-Berth, Main Salon, & Aft Berth.

Many boats will fill this bill including the boat we sail, a Beneteau 361.
