Western Long Island Surveyor Recommendations?

Hello All;

I am seeking recommendations for a highly knowledgeable, persnickety, extremely thorough, sailboat surveyor around Western Long Island (Huntington, NY to be exact).

A Yanmar specialist and a rigger might also be of help if anyone happens to know of them in the area.









Financial adviser and psychiatrist to talk me out of it all would probably be a cheaper option

Rob you might want to interview Kevin McGoldrick, he did a insurance survey on my boat for me about 4 years ago...found him
knowledgeable and extremely thorough...others have described him
as thorough as well. Think he would be very good for an purchase
survey. "Persnickety" describes him well.

Have used Bob from Long Island Yacht Service for service and parts over many years on my 3GMC, he is local Yanmar dealer right in
Huntington...have taken Yanmar diesel classes from him, very good
also very busy come spring. 631 549 4687

Rigging Locker, Dave James from Port Washington for rigging,
very good but don't know if he will go to Huntington.
